Speaker:

Ashley Telisky Solek, DO, MBA, is a physician executive whose career spans academic and community health systems, giving her a panoramic view of how capacity behaves across the entire care ecosystem. Her experience spans roles including Medical Director of Transfer Center, EMS and Disaster Preparedness within a high acuity command center for a large academic health system; Chief Logistics Officer where she created a Logistics Center for a large academic system; Vice Chair for System Integration in Emergency Medicine; EMR Physician Executive facilitating the launch of technology integration across a complex system; Physician Advisor for Clinical Documentation Integrity, Utilization Review, and medical necessity denials; and Director of Ambulatory Specialty Practice Operations overseeing multi-specialty clinics, an infusion center, and a cancer center. Across these roles she has built and led real time logistics and flow infrastructure, unified operations across campuses, strengthened performance, and led large multidisciplinary teams. Her work centers on the human behavioral, and systems level dynamics that shape capacity—moving beyond best practices to reveal how incentives, interactions, and decision making drive outcomes in complex adaptive systems.
